Questions & Answers

We will try to answer questions that have already been asked here, but don't hesitate contact to record if your questions have not yet been answered and there are no stupid questions.

  • Should I participate in the exercise every morning?

No, but there is room for questions if you have any doubts. The advantage of participating is that you learn that you can tailor and adapt every movement to what feels good for you and you can play and discover where your physical limits are. The intention is that it does you good and that you enjoy it.

  • Is participation in the workshops mandatory?

There is no obligation and the choice is yours every day. If you don't feel like it or want to sleep in, you can.

  • Does the retreat include meals?

There is a buffet breakfast every morning and you can eat whatever you want. You can also make a packed lunch after breakfast and store it (in the refrigerator) for later in the day. We serve dinner in the villa on five evenings and prepare delicious Greek vegetarian food for you. There is also a buffet, so you are not obliged to sit at a table in a group. You do the retreat for yourself and you can choose your place in and around the villa every day to eat quietly. On Wednesdays and Thursdays you can choose what and where you will eat, alone or with others.

  • Can I also eat in a tavern?

Yes. And we recommend that you do so, because when you are in Corfu it is also nice to experience what is available in the taverns, restaurants and small eateries. You can also get something and eat on the beach. Or you can make something to eat yourself if you feel like it.

  • Do I have to be home in time for dinner?

This is useful on days when we eat together, but much is possible in consultation. If you are not eating with us, it is useful if you let us know in advance.

  • How far is the property from the airport?

The distance is not that long, but it is a road through the mountains, so it does not go that fast. Officially it is 40 – 50 minutes. See the green line on the map on the left below. The map says 35 km. in 49 minutes.

  • Is transport from the airport arranged?

No, we don't do that anymore. We do ensure that there is a WhatsApp group 2 weeks before departure, so that participants can agree with each other about traveling together from the airport. You can travel to the villa by bus or taxi. From the bus stop in Sidari it is about a 10 – 15 minute walk, along the sea, to the villa.

You can rent a car together, but Autorent Corfu We advise against this, because they have no cars at the airport. You will be picked up, but first you have to go into the city, where the cars are parked. That causes a lot of hassle on the way back and that was it a bad experience for us. There are cars from Hertz and other rental companies available next to the airport and you can reserve them online.

During the week you don't need a car, because there is plenty to do within walking distance and you can take beautiful walks. It can be nice if you want to go to a beach a little further away, but then you can also rent a car in Sidari.

The Greek bus company is KTEL and for Corfu you can go to this site: https://ktelkerkyras.gr
